What on earth has happened to him since leaving us for Villa. Loaned to Livingston in January 2022 and failed to score in only 8 games and was criticised by their manager and at the beginning of this season loaned to Crawley and only played 5 games with no goals. I think KC criticised his attitude when he was here. It does not look like we will be getting a sell on fee.

Also what has happened to Everbrite, it has been a while since he posted, hope he is ok.

All quiet on the Caleb front. He did actually make 14 appearances for Crawley in all competitions, and was a fairly regular feature in the squad (mainly as an unsued sub) for a good few more games. He started their game at Newport on January 2nd but went off after 81 minutes. Can't find any confirmation of it but i'd suggest he was injured as he didn't appear again for the club until April, and there were many games between January and April where Crawley could not even name a full bench.
Anyway, he reappeared as a sub in the goalless home draw with Bradford on Good Friday and then started the game at Barrow on Easter Monday. He was replaced at half time by Dom Telford with Barrow leading 1-0, Barrow went on to win 4-0, Caleb was never seen again in the first team squad.
I'm guessing he is now back at Villa, and as they are still playing this season they have not named their retained list yet. Will be interesting to see what happens in a couple of weeks.

As for Evers....no idea....but he'll be back! You can't keep a good man down....unfortunately!!

Crawley took him on with an obligation to buy apparently. Lots of negative comments on their forum about him not being a footballer

Last posted about 2 weeks ago! After the Tranmere game experienced neck and shoulder pains which were rather painful plus I have other interests, even hobbies and my 20 yr old BMW to look after! Enjoyed the Tranmere game and the fans splendid support. Very glad no Playoffs to worry about but the transfer thread is interesting but some of it a bit OTT. Other than that ....please wait Grin

I know he was only young but honestly didn't think he was up to much while he was here.

Might be cynical but could have been a token gesture to try and get his brother more likely to say at Villa.

I thought he looked like a raw talent that needed coaching.

According to the Marquis I posted last Thursday so hardly a miss. Mind you when you have painful shoulder/neck issues it takes a day or two to get up to steam again. Along with many others on here you are admired for your keep fit activities so how is your handicap doing! I also prefer to post when the team is in action, sort of a holiday now for me Roll Eyes

Would you have him back?

Maybe if he had an attitude transplant.

No thanks. Crawley has an obligation to buy so hopefully we get a very nominal sell on. Buy a new corner flag or two

Not really sure where he goes from here given he's doesn't appear to have even been mediocre at a very poor Crawley Town.

I didn't think he was very good when he was with us. Very surprised he got a big move to Villa a few weeks after being tucked up in Liam Dolman's back pocket when we played Diamonds in a pre season friendly.
