1. Kenny Deuchar
2. Trevor Morley
3. Ian Benjamin
4. Eddie McGolrick
5. Andy Kirk
6. Bobby Barnes
7. Richard Hill
8. Scott McGleish

I appreciate this side looks a little "unbalanced" and may leak a few but at least there's goals in it...

Boy am I feeling it this weekend....

With no goal keeper and no defenders I think the above team will "leak a few" and the 11 attacking players will have no service.

I think he was just making a point about our lack of scoring strikers. Smiley

I get the point about our lack of scoring strikers but I don't see that team having "goals in it" when there are no ball winners and the strikers having no service. The thread is about your best team which would include a goal keeper and defenders not an unbalanced selection random players.

Double standards Evers, you say Kyle Walker didn't want to play for us when he , really, had no say in it, but you include Cliff Holton who made it perfectly clear that he didn't want to play for us after his one, record breaking, season

Brough must have impressed you massively in his first 10 or so games for the club if he makes your all time list. Have you reconsideref after today? He wasn't even the best left back to play for us today, let alone all time.

All in your opinion! Brough impressed the Chron as well. His overall displays were consistent enough to be considered! Unfortunately I don’t take these type of games very seriously if at all. Good luck!

Why are you so obsessed with the Chron's opinion, like it adds some validity to yours? It's just one journalist. His/her opinion is no more or less worthy than yours or mine. They have no background in football, not a former player or manager, just somebody sent along to the match to report. I knew former reporters Mark Beasley and Andy Roberts, both nice guys but you could hardly call them football experts.

It was a League One match, not FA Cup, League Cup or FL Trophy - sorry, can't remember what it is called at the moment.

Which games do you take seriously?

He gets a lot of flack for talking nonsense but on this occasion I suspect he means he doesn't take games like name your best ever eleven seriously.
You watch him disagree with me now. Tongue

Sorry Coolcat but I won’t be taking your advice as I find much of what passes for humour these days not particularly funny. I rarely watch todays comedy shows as they don’t compare favourably to those of the past. However, as my family and friends would confirm I do not lack a sense of humour.
Not sure why you consider yourself qualified to impart advice to other posters.
