Hmm, well I've been watching the new season for 45 minutes now and its not shaping up to be a classic - early days though. KERS and DRS and tyres all making it a little over complicated?? Luckily Rubens just lost his mind to liven things up a bit!!

That's what everybody said after the first race last season and it turned out to be interesting enough I do have a feeling though that we could see a processional season reminiscent of Hakkinen's championship year and several of Schumacher's title seasons

But last season's opener was on a terrible track!
If Vettel doesn't win over half the races i'd be surprised. I'm off to put a couple of bets on Vettel. 1) He leads the championship all through the season 2) He has it won by Spa.

Agreed and I think you'll win at least one of those. I like Webber but I think last season might have taken it out of him. As long as Button fails miserably I'll be happy...

I don't think Webber will be that far behind again, but he'll still not be as quick as Vettel. It wouldn't surprise me if Webber now sees a share of 'bad luck' and 'strategical mistakes' or car failures. They'll not want a repeat of last season and there eggs are firmly in Vettel's basket.
Thats the thing about F1, all looks so plain, yet nothing is.
See Massa and Alonso last season.

This weekend will be different...Oz is always boring....!! Red Bulls with Kers will ruin their tyres and they'll overheat.... The rain will play a factor as it always does. Mercedes GP will be back in the tick of it after their unfortunate issues in Oz Ferrari will be on fire again. McLaren will have gained vital data in Oz which they wouldn't have got from the simulator over the winter....
As for the rest, expect Petrov to keep pushing on. Di Resta will be there or there abouts in the Force India. I wouldn't be suprised to see a surprise this weekend.
As for the technical updates.... the adjustable wing clearly worked last weekend...just a crap track. KERs will be awesome with the wing movement on tracks with hairpins to overtake into..... Only 13 weeks until the tent, gazebo, BBQ, chairs and sound system go up at Silverstone with a shed load of beer....bring it on!!!

Now McLaren have got a proper floor on the car (not the titanium botch job like Aus!) they are flying.
Vettel, superb lap.
What did I tell you about Webber?
Shaping up to be a good on!

Why was Lewis penalised the same as Alonso? As it panned out the Spaniard gained more out of it than Lewis, he dived in and got a new wing, whilst Lewis's car fell down the track/

Lewis wasn't penalised for the incident, he was penalised for continuous weaving the lap before.

I thought Hamilton had a great race today but Webber did even better to take 3rd place off Button
