Have the last two games exposed Brady’s lack of management and coaching ability?

Nah, too soon for that. Looks like the players may not be best pleased though.

Don't forget though, Calderwood was sacked after failing at Cambridge in League 2, at least Brady hasn't got that on his CV.
Brady hasn't got coaching at Nottingham Forest, Newcastle, Hibernian, Birmingham, Brighton, Aston Villa and Blackpool on his cv.

it always felt to me as if Brady was the figurehead with Calderwood behind the scenes sorting out the detail. You generally saw the players in conversation with Calderwood at substitutions rather than Brady.

Yes maybe this is what’s gone on behind the scenes? Everyone is now wonder if / what JB has ever contributed in the original set up?

Brady probably trying to play Pinnock in goal and Sammy at CB. A difference of opinion no doubt.

Wilson and Broadhurst also had a falling out apparently, Kevan turned out to be the better option in the end, although he ended up being sacked again.

I'm not sure I'd agree with that, Wilson is rated 13th on a pts per game ratio in the managers table, Broadhurst 35th. Even if you only select League 1 games there is hardly a whisker between them, Wilson 1.12ppg, Broadhurst 1.14ppg. Personally I think Wilson did a fantastic job when he took over from Atkins and got us up that very same season. I'll never forget the last day win at Torquay to seal promotion. His record, like every other Cobblers manager when it comes to the playing in the third tier took a battering. Matter of opinion though, nothing more.

I'd say that the attack-minded possession football we've played this year has already been a world away from the dour but effective safer-first defensive style that CC has always seemed to favour. I think a couple of seasons ago when we were grinding out dour 1-0 wins in League 2 you could see the the Calderwoodian tactical influence but Brady seems to have cast that off.
Ironically, as I've said on another thread I think we actually need to tighten up a bit in order to grind out results at this level.
My thoughts entirely; quickly too!

Could that be the reason CC sat up in the stand for his last couple of games?
