Calderwood has gone as he’s a good coach with a proven track record.
The other two nobody else is after. Both seem pretty limited and on the basis of having no other options they can’t really leave.

My view is CC is a very very good coach and did an outstanding job for us. It’s neither a criticism or slur against Colin to say I am very happy with Sammo in the role, and was thrilled when he was given the opportunity to step in.

Colin has a great relationship with the town and the club. Wherever he goes he is a fully committed professional. But ultimately the success has to be attributed to Brady. I wondered what he was doing yesterday, when on the 90th minute he introduced 3 substitutes. He can happily point out to me that two of them were the reason for the win. It is his side, and currently it embodies the tenacity and fight that is John Brady.

CC did well for us and clearly played a key role in our promotion and building the squad we've got. Was interested to see what would happen when he left and talk began to fly about "wheels coming off" etc, but it turns out that our best form of the season has been since he left. That goes to show thay JB is a very capable manager with or without CC. Although he has less experience than CC, I liked Sammo as a manager and I'm sure he will prove a great assistant too.
