McGowan's leadership made a massive difference, Leonard playing further forward was a revelation but Pinnock had his best game in a Cobblers shirt this season.

Well done to Max in goal.

Bowie- was a real nuisance and make so much difference when you stop the ball coming back immediately.

We are so much better with sowerby in the team!

McGowan for me. Looks like talk of his demise was a bit premature.

Managers like Bowen and Wilder* are rare to come by! Whether we like it or not Jon Brady is the only recent Manager who can possibly follow in their* footstops!

We should stick with him, as at the moment he is our only hope of survival as a EFL Club!

Bowie and McGowan edging out Sowerby but I’m going to give it to Max Thompson.
Much much better today. This clean sheet will rightly give him some confidence.
I hope this nomination will help as well?!?
Well done young man!

Sowerby

Leonard and Bowie excellent too.

McGowan great on his return, but not perfect, and a couple of errors - one should have lead to conceding.

McGowan and Sowerby made a difference, as did Pinnock back on the wing. And a special shout out to Jordan Willis who I thought was fantastic.

Overall though, I'm going for Marc Leonard

As others have said, McGowan, Sowerby and Leonard were the standouts - I’ll go for Leonard, I just hope he stays with us for the whole season.

Good or very good performances from the whole team but I'll go for McGowan. I've said before that I thought he might not be good enough at this level, but fair play to him yesterday. He had a great game and his leadership qualities were there for all to see and may have played a key part in the win.

I am going for Leonard due to his stand out performance and a cracking goal but massive contributions from Bowie, Sowerby and McGowan ensured a much needed win.

In some ways it would be easy to go for Leonard every week.

I'm going for Sowerby though, he just makes such a massive difference when he plays and yesterday he was outstanding.

Leonard.

It would have been McGowan but his slip which almost enabled them to pull a goal back shortly after we'd gone 2-0 up could have proved costly.

One of the most difficult decisions.
Sowerby Leonard and McGowan all outstanding + super Sam with yet another goal.
On reflection the winner is......
LEONARD.

McG certainly sllenced his critics with that staunch display. They all played well but Thompson rose to the challenge. He play played bravely too especially at corners with Burton doing their best to bully him.
Thompson for me.
