I get why managers or coaches feel like that but throwing pretty much your entire team under the bus is probably not the best way to get them to play for you.
Smacks of someone looking after their own reputation and not really caring about a club he can probably afford to walk away from whenever he feels like.

Just listened to this and his (kind of) apology on Sky. It was pretty cringeworthy from a manager with zero personal accountability. It is difficult to see any happy ending there. You can imagine what the atmosphere and culture must be at FGR at the moment. It also makes you feel lucky for what you have at your own club.
They are doomed to return where they came from!!

It reminds me of Dean Austin when we played Mansfield the game before he was sacked I think this will go the same way soon
