Nah, it's a meaningless competition. Don't tell Marvo though. Grin

Meaningless competition? Not if you get to Wembley it isn't.

Meaningless game? Well, as we can't progress whatever the result I guess you're right, though any youngster given a chance to shine in it might not agree. Winning also becomes a habit, not a bad one to have. Will we continue the run of 2023/4 of following up one win with another? It's an unusual stat, and of course the result, whatever that may be will add to Brady's overall record, as it has to every other Cobblers manager. Brady probably (I haven't checked) has the worst cup record of any Cobblers manager. It's truly awful. Be nice to address that tomorrow.

As JB said certain players need minutes, I suggest the team nearly picks itself.

then on to 2013 where we lost 2-0 and had Ismael Demontagnac sent off,

... and who did he kick out at in order to get himself sent off and pretty much end his career?

None other than a 16 year-old Dele Alli.

I work near the stadium and apparently it's a 30k sell out. I'm sure there'll be some touts selling before the game.

Dean Lewington is in the Dons line up, in what must be his 12000th (or something like that) start. They also go with Darragh Burns who makes his first start of the season, two other professionals who make their first ever starts, and a further two scholars who also start. They have 6 scholars (including one 15 year old) on the bench. The goalkeeper has not played a league game ever and makes just his third Cup start.

A weaker side you could not wish to play........ £13  Grin
