Right, since our favourite Chinese takeaway Wing Wah down Bridge Street, closed down earlier this year we've beem looking for an alternative...
What we loved about Wing Wah was that nothing was ever too salty & they used proper chicken breast, not that rubbery stuff!
If there's a Wing Wah equivalent that would be ideal...
All suggestions welcome as it's our new years eve tradition...
Cheers!

Cheers, we'll check that one out... Once you've found a decent one, you tend to stick with it as they can be vastly different in taste, even though the same items are ordered.

I always find Chinese the most generic (takeaway) food of the lot. They always seems busy, bags of MSG, reeking of garlic and craving water for the next 24 hours. Ying Lung and Finest on St Leonards Road were always decent, parking the obvious nightmare. I had the same NYE tradition but learnt to order 3 hours in advance!
My favourite (eat in) over the years is the Wok Inn. Best of all, you just turn up and wok inn...a favourite Dad joke.

Faces the multi-storey and is now called The Oriental Garden, I haven’t been into town for months!
