Clean room and bed, and a good hot power shower is all that’s required! I’ve stayed in hotels from NYC to Sydney, 5 star and no star The Refinery in mid town was one of my favourites in NY, nice roof garden. Sydney I used to stay in the Intercontinental but the last time I ended up in Kings Cross listening to people pucking in the street, still nice hotel. Worst hotel by a mile was one near Maldon in Essex, I slept in my car.

The Grace hotel in Sydney was my favourite, closely followed by the Royal orchid Sheraton in Bangkok, 24th floor with views over the Chao Phraya river.

I have stayed in hotels from Powys to Welshpool and so long as they have a bog and a blanket are fine.

Festival tents, SkegVegas caravans to five star hotels in US and KL and Sri Lanka. Been happy in all of them if I’m with those I love. 🤢

I think someone should just take this city of Peterborough and just... just flush it down the f***in' toilet

Got a sunburnt face the last time I was down there for our promotion party. And got hit on the back of the head a few times, by the loads of inflatable animals that were being hurled around. That dolphin hurt.

Cafe Sydney no doubt?
Sailor's Thai in the Rocks was brilliant, Ho Mok served by a waiter who appeared to float rather than walk

Looks like the allocation of 1,104 tickets is close to a sell out.
And looking on Pompey's ticketing site, it seems theve released Blocks P and Q up for sale. so I dont think we are getting anymore tickets.

My Uncle once went to Portsmouth and had a coffee with one of his best mates, who used to have a shop in Southampton. The Uncle used to work in Dover but left to live in Nottingham just before Covid.

Your uncle was, clearly, a well travelled man.

By contrast, Portsmouth travel to Oxford Utd tonight, having of course sold their full allocation of 1,471, whereas Oxford are looking at one of their lowest home turnouts all season - they have a couple who do dot counts! Barely 6,500 home support - loads saying what's the point, predicting a Pompey whitewash! They were on course for 10,500 against us a couple of weeks ago...though many, both us and them I suspect, will cry off for the rearranged game!

Incredible how quickly things can change in football.
Should be a cracking away day, ive always wanted to do Pompey away so its great ive managed to get a ticket.
Think theyve recently done their away end up and they are expecting to be done in time for the game on Saturday, so it should be a good atmopshere, cant wait.

Portsmouth have just released more seats for us by the looks of it. Driving down to see this one with a Pompey friend, hopefully not a depressing drive home

Yeah ive just seen, looks like Block N has been released.
Looking like another 335 tickets, so that brings our allocation to 1439 in all.
