Sherring (won’t sign)
Willis (also probably won’t sign)

Harsh on McWilliams and Burge but for me they don’t play enough games in a season. Burge doesn’t command his area enough either.

I would offer new contracts to Sherring, McWilliams and Odimayo, possibly Appere depending on his form in the remaining games as he is carrying a knock.
Fox has looked good when fit but that has been too rare and it would not be good to have the risk of him missing a chunk of the season.
Abimbola I have not seen enough of but would not be among the high earners.
Burge I would let go as he is a shadow of last seasons player and also now seems injury prone. I doubt Wolves will be very pleased if after recalling Moulden from his loan where he was playing every game he is left to warm the bench here. I think we should give him a run of games and if he proves to be as good as Rochdale fans said then get him back for next season.
Willis has not let us down and I would not be against offering a new contract. The question is how many centre backs JB wants as if Sherring and Willis both stay we would have 6 with Guthrie, Monthe, Magloire and Dyche.

Maglorie is made of glass and Dyche is nowhere near good enough.

Maybe but they are both under contract for next season. Magloire when fit has shown to be a good player and Dyche stepped up last season in a very makeshift defence that won us promotion and put in some good shifts but it remains to be seen if he can make the step up to a higher level.

I’d definitely say bye to Burge. Too many clangers in him and a shocking fitness record for a keeper.

We should have thrown a decent sized contract at Sherring with a sizeable sell on clause. I expect he’s one that we might look back on in a few years and say “what if”.

I’d keep Appere, McWilliams and Odimayo, but could probably cope if most of that list left. Most of them have been sick notes.

I think Willis might sign. He's been loyal to his previous clubs, not a journeyman like some.

Sam Sherring
Louis Appere
Jordan Willis
Shaun McWilliams
Akin Odimayo

I think all of those we should expect to retain apart from Sherring. But we really should be offering him everything we possible can, and then sell him in the summer if it has a detriment to our budget. Hypothetically with a 2/3 year deal, he should be worth 500k+ to us. I can see him having a Luke Chambers type career at the high end of the Championship.

I'd also offer Ben Fox back for pre-season to see if he can get himself fit. Mainly because if he can, he could be a real asset for us next year.

Brady has clearly shown he likes to keep the majority of his squad together...and despite what a lot of people were saying pre-season, the majority of them have stepped up.

Surprised that letting Burge go is so popular.I think his saves  have kept us in a lot of games and i cant think of a better goalie that we have had for the last 3 or 4 years.
