It would be if you wanted the club to run on a break even basis, you seem to advocate the Bury model of the club spending beyond the money it brings in. |

Not at all, I am a very prudent businessman, but I am not boasting I put circa £1m into the club every year on top of a £5.5m turnover, they have taken the club as far as they can that’s clear, I posted on here back in 2019 that the club was up for sale when I was playing golf at Centurion club in St Albans with the head of the FA who showed me the email. If they are serious the owners would be asking the council to buy the stadium outright. |

And you predated this comment with one about flying on Sheik Mansours private jet. Not bad for a lad who made his massive fortune, driving around town in a little red van. And used to drink at the Lamplighter. I was a guest of Sheikh Mansour, food was unbelievable and a heated bucket seat to sit in afterwards. He hired something like 4 A380s to fly his family and friends to the Barca game. I was due to fly on the city private jet with the players for the return fixture and go wine tasting before the game, unfortunately I couldn’t make it  so missed out. Take it easy mate. xx |
