What a brilliant game to start this competition off. A six from the last ball to win it even though poor old Alice Capsey had taken two wickets in the over.

Not seen a game yet but did enjoy last year's tournament so will be watching a game soon

I much prefer this format to the men's as well with less teams makes each game more meaningful

I have no problem with the hundred as such but why can't it be normal 20/20 with normal overs etc

I thought this when it was first on the scene, but the subtle rule changes and the faster format make it far more watchable for the youngsters(bearing in mind they have very short attention spans) who it seems to be primarily aimed at.
It has been a huge marketing success and is bringing much need attention and revenue into the game, especially for the women's teams and players.
