The Quarter Finals here we come. Credit to the club for putting together a team that is credible in the T20. Zaib's innings outstanding last night and Willey's first over pivotal.
A 6 week gap after tonight seems a bit daft. Who will be missing by then?

That's the trouble with the county season taking 2nd fiddle to the 100

It really is amazing that they thought 'you know what we need? another format' because three were not causing enough problems.

I agree and also completely different rules to normal cricket
Ie not 6 ball overs consecutive overs from the same end etc

In my younger days I played a lot of cricket. League cricket Saturdays, friendlies on Sundays and limited over knock out competitions midweek evenings (usually 20 overs per side). I have always since maintained a keen interest in the game but I have zero interest in The Hundred.

Well they've cocked up todays 50 overs game, having scored 235 and having Derby 79 for 7 we lose by 2 wickets.

I thought at 79/7 we would win easily obviously not

And a repeat today, after reducing Hampshire to 96 for 5 (scoring at just over 4 runs per over) they end their innings on 285 for 8 (scoring at just over 7 runs per over for the rest of the innings).

We should be better than this as we have no player away in that other commotion I don't name

Gay's move to Durham quite a surprise. A lot of time waiting for the weather to get better up there (I should know).
Good luck to the lad. Presumably moving home as well.
We've lost far too much talent in the last few years, seemingly very carelessly.

Another debacle today, having reached 148 before losing our 2nd wicket we collapse losing 9 wickets for 112 runs and get beat again.

If it wasn't for a small amount of success in the t20 this season would be a disaster

Finally a win, against previously unbeaten Worcestershire. Having lost our first 4 games in the competition there is little chance of us progressing.

and on the NCCC website as per usual. Very poor again. Just that T20 Quarter Final to look forward to. Hopefully the Cobblers lift the spirits starting this Saturday.

Suicidal batting for a fifty over game.
