Both s*** ones to move.
Them lot at home for obvious reasons and Burton away usually commands a big away following.

Not sure why they've selected a couple of localish games that would be well attended by away support anyway?

I think someone should just take this city of Peterborough and just... just flush it down the f***in' toilet

Absolutely- but we should know by now Sky or the EFL don’t give a s*** about actually supporters that buy tickets

And do club owners? They are the ones who voted unanimously for this deal. According to available figures NTFC received a solidarity payment of £778k from the League last season, as well as a £920k "basic payment" given to all League 1 clubs. This payment was made up of mainly the TV (old) deal money. This new deal adds an average of 46% to that figure going forward. When you work that out it probably means that for the first time in our history our TV revenue this season will outstrip our season ticket income. That gives you an idea of where the power is in football even down to our level now.

The whole deal is rather odd, when you look at our fixtures moved, the one against those from the wrong side of the Nene is possibly attractive for the neutral, but other than Burton and Northampton fans, who on earth wants to settle down for Burton Albion v Northampton Town. As a Cobblers fan, it's not even a game I'd even bother planning to go to.
And I also think it's a backward step. Technology wise, iFollow could be a bit ropey, but it was an ideal platform for Clubs at our level, if you couldn't get to a midweek game you could pay a tenner and watch it. Even paying £2.50 from the Radio Northampton commentary on a Saturday was good for those of us not allowed to listen on DAB because we live outside of the County (why?).
With all the movement of kick off times now across the top 4 leagues, they may as well have done away with the 3pm Saturday black out and allowed clubs to stream the matches for people to pick and choose.
I get that this is all about the money, but from a fan point of view, In a time where cheap mortgage deals are ending and new ones are making payments £200-£400 dearer, a £100 Sky Subscription is even further down the list of priorities than it was previously.

From a fans perspective I think the money is just fool’s gold - I doubt a significant part of any increased revenue will go on infrastructure - the vast majority on inflating players wages - Birmingham will still be able to pay 3x that the smaller clubs can - actually is probably even worse as smaller clubs may use the extra to simply keep the club afloat whilst the larger ones can put it straight in the salary pot - hence the gap will get even bigger - sadly the whole thing is questioning my affinity to football at our level.

I think we will see the lowest ever EFL Trophy attendance ever.
Do you mean in the ground or on the TV...or both?

At least it's two moves and not Leeds' THIRTEEN
Massive positive the amount of notice being given to moves, much more than previous seasons.

Similar to the Premier League, some of the teams only play a few games a season at 3 o'clock on a Saturday.

The take up of tickets for next Tuesday's match with Wycombe looks woeful on the main site. Anyone know what the record low for a home league cup match is?

Hardly inspirational pricing, though imagine many will wait until after Saturday, or perhaps go on the day.

I think you press the red button on your remote and then select the game you wish to watch from the list (that's how I did it anyway).
