OK, so we have been told he won't be returning next season, but how much do you think he is worth? Do you think we should put a cheeky bid in? If so, how much should that be?

With him out of contract, in theory we would not need to bid anything!
Unless of course Fulham offer him another contract which then also means we wouldn't put a bid in as it would be pointless!!
It will come down to wages, and there will be plenty of suitors that we could not compete with on that score.

Dont think money will be the issue (not saying we could afford him though) but more his desires. He is a Scotland U21, on the books of a Premier League Club. I cant see him wanting to come back to League 1. I would expect another loan or sale to either a Championship club or Scottish Prem.

He ain't coming back as no deal has been done. Maybe there could be one to be done at some point in the future (maybe even this summer) and he does come back. Stranger things have happened in football. At that age, out of contract doesn't mean no fee, it means compensation is due, which isn't necessarily a players full value. I think compensation is meant to reflect the development the old club had put into the player. I wonder which club has developed Bowie most in the past two seasons? |

Compensation would only be due if Fulham offer Bowie a new contract, which i don't think they will. |

Other clubs will trust us with their young players after the way we have looked after and developed Bowie, Leonard and Etete before them so I'm not too worried as we will replace them. The concern is the settling in period and we can't afford a slow start next season as it will be a tough old league.
