Absolutely, I’d love to see how anyone would stop drugs and contraband getting into prisons, their would be riots.

Totalitarian state, parroting lies and corruption, Stammer and his band of misfits are going to tax the hell out of the ordinary working man, so they can pay their union paymasters double digit inflation busting rises like they have train drivers.

Good article, explains the current justice system but doesn't hint that it isn't always particularly 'just'. With cases like Edwards, it highlights what public opinion is on some of the areas, although if you read the common Daily Mirror thread we'd have the birch back in no time.

I note that Unison have come out and criticised Labour regarding the winter fuel payments - if they labour's paymasters Labour don't appear to be towing the line. I am still ot paying more in taxes (although I would be happy to if it gets us better services), but I am still short £12,000 in my pension pot following the disastrous Tory budget from Mrs Truss. I am sure Mr Manwork will tell me that all of that is Lefty plot and I have been hoodwinked, but the 12 grand deficit is real - FACT.

You're lucky, Truss wiped £250k from mine. Hopefully the gilt bonds will start making a difference now the interest rates are dropping.

We have something called a budget, the irony is it’s on October30th this year near Halloween 🎃, this is where the chancellor sets out her fiscal policy, including tax, and spending, by say it’s going to be a hard budget she’s already destroying consumer confidence and further wrecking the economy, wait and see what tax everyone gets after the budget. Your money purchase pension pot will recover, and for what it’s worth I agree that Truss was an utter disaster.

Ah, Comrade Manny has seen the light at last. I do remember him signing off one post "in Truss we trust", but that was before the benefit of hindsight kicked in. One day he might be singing the current government's praises when his undoubtedly huge investments grow and grow and grow.

The markets are pretty resilient at the moment considering the current geopolitical situation.

Not like when Ms Truss had a play at running the country. Well done Mrs Reeves for encouraging a resilient market. Would you like to join in congratulating her for adding to your millions Comrade?

It's likely to be challenging for old age pensioners with limited resources. Are you heating or eating this winter?
