The rapid rise of Reform has been on the back of a climate of prejudice popularised by mainstream politicians and right-wing media. Endless newspaper headlines demonising Muslims and asylum seekers, or Suella Braverman describing the arrival of desperate people by boat as an “invasion”, all have fed into the climate that Mr Farage and Reform UK exploited. Most prominent is GB News, an increasingly influential outlet for far-right opinion that regularly pushes radical right narratives. While viewpoints vary Many presenters use the platform to promote harmful conspiracy theories and socially divisive political narratives. Importantly, the channel has also provided Mr Farage, Mr Anderson and Mr Tice with their own shows.

It might be increasingly influential but it isn't in anyway improving as a channel. Utter garbage even before it's politics are taken into account.

Thank you for those erudite responses
Absolute pleasure. So were you a Five Bells man, or a Bakers Arms man? Or the fella who sits up the corner of The Wharf like the crop sprayer in Independance Day? Whatever, its only banter. Join in.

With all the blank cheques he’s given them I’m surprised they bothered? Sunak had them earmarked for The Institute of Directors, he’ll be fuming.

Let me make one thing absolutely clear, the Trust “advisor” is not god. Are you going to tell him or shall I?

Yes, it’s a curious thing reading social media - some of the most strident right wingers who profess their love of the UK and bemoan it’s cultural heritage being eroded have a terrible command of the English language.

I think that applies to society in general. You only have to read some of the comments on the Chrons FB page, to realise that these people walk amongst us.
