It seems strange to me even not in form there better off going into the play offs with him than someone completely different

If I remember correctly, Fulham sacked Kevin Keegan as Manager/Director of Football just before we met and beat them in the 1998 play-off semi-final.

A mix of shock and expectation on their forum....there are plenty who think he should have gone weeks ago, which to me seems bizarre as they've been top 3/4/5 for ages. Talk of him losing the dressing room, this led to him dropping players recently such as top scorer Devante Cole. The atmosphere at half time on Saturday at Blackpool is described as "toxic" and it is believed that s/t sales are down for next season despite the possibility of promotion.
Some people think they have someone else lined up, and Warnocks name is being bandied about, as is that of Leam Richardson who was just relieved of his duties by Rotherham.
A few though are still optimistic about them reaching the playoffs, one poster has even said "This side, with anyone in charge, should win on Saturday. Northampton will be playing in flip-flops."...... they've obviously been watching our last few games!!

Yes, I bet their manager is livid to have been relieved of his duties just before they played the Cobblers, the new man in charge is going to be hailed a hero Saturday for ensuring their place in the play-offs.

Managers like Bowen and Wilder* are rare to come by! Whether we like it or not Jon Brady is the only recent Manager who can possibly follow in their* footstops!
We should stick with him, as at the moment he is our only hope of survival as a EFL Club!

Almost right. In fact Fulham sacked Ray Wilkins just before their play-off semi-final against Grimsby in 97/98 and installed Keegan as manager. He went on to lose, while we than lost to Grimsby in the final.

Barnsley have to go for the win because if Oxford and Lincoln both win they would drop out of the play offs with a draw. They have only taken 1 point from their last 5 games but 4 of those were away which they all lost, before that they had only lost 1 of their 19 away games and they have a lot more away points than at home where they have only won 9 of their 22 games.

Er you just didn't - I've never worn sandals in my life! I know you like to pass yourself off as knowing everyone - clearly you don't! Retract - also for the record, the Speedos and flip flops were metaphorical!

Just hope we actually turn up & go all out for the win...nowt to lose.
Absolutely pointless sitting back, they realistically need to win, all pressure will be on them so let's ruin their big day...
Could be a cracker!

I have followed this club home and away for over 40 years, and I know lots of people. And you now live just around the corner from me. Your problem is that you do not know who I am. And that concerns you.
