You are the 2nd person to say this, and I feel I need to point it out again. By saying if he's still here next season we will be in a relegation fight, would imply that we were in a relegation fight this season. Because he played in 37 games this season. It's such a narrow opinion, there are so many more variables.

I like him, he's playing fairly regularly in our best team since 2008, working well in a solid front 3 alongside Bowie, Hoskins, Pinnock etc. He's 25 now, coming into what will hopefully be his best years, and I think he gets a new contract.

This. Clowns on here were saying exactly the same thing about Hoskins a few years ago.

Great weekend interweaved around a shoddy, half-arsed football game. Certainly hoping we see an improved team and league next season.

I only said he was sh1t when he was sh1t. The same criteria that I have applied to Appere.

Enjoyed the weekend up in Barnsley. Stayed over the Friday night, did the parkrun on Saturday and saw a fellow Cobbler there too. It was a very hilly parkrun, but then it is up north so I should have expected it! Enjoyed the game. Felt we deserved the point and I can't see them getting past Bolton in the play-offs. It was my first visit there so ground 77 watching the Cobblers at. Located in the hills and old town gives it a nostalgic feel.

Appere was dreadful at Barnsley, he scored a tap in at the end but his overall performance was poor.

Agreed he was terrible for 95 minutes but that was a good finish at the end.

Nothing like a tap in, as I said in a previous he may be better playing off a big target man's knock downs.
