Just hope we actually turn up & go all out for the win...nowt to lose.

Absolutely pointless sitting back, they realistically need to win, all pressure will be on them so let's ruin their big day...

Could be a cracker!

I'm sorry, who have you been watching over the past couple of months?

Our last 9 away games have produced 1 win, 2 draws and 6 defeats. We've scored 10 but conceded 21 and we haven't even scored in the last three away games, losing last time out to a side who will be playing in league 2 next season.

I'd admire your optimism, I really do.

Managers like Bowen and Wilder* are rare to come by! Whether we like it or not Jon Brady is the only recent Manager who can possibly follow in their* footstops!

We should stick with him, as at the moment he is our only hope of survival as a EFL Club!

I have followed this club home and away for over 40 years, and I know lots of people. And you now live just around the corner from me.
Your problem is that you do not know who I am. And that concerns you.
I haven't a Scooby who you are...nor do I care. I also have followed the Cobbs home & away for 40 odd years. Clearly I'm better known and don't desperately try and give the impression I'm so ITK and that I know everyone.
Think it's called window twitching!

Us mortals hope to witness a win otherwise what’s the point of going? You have a proper defeatist attitude!

I'm not going?Huh

Sorry, I just base my opinions on actual facts, rather than some fanatical wish.

Not to worry, if we don't turn up (again) and get beat, you'll just write it off as you usually do.

At least the next match is over 3 months away, what will you do with yourself, the entire point of your existence on hold?

You need to heed Marcus Aurelius opinion on Facts - read his memoirs in Meditations!

One of Marcus Aurelius famous quotes was:

"The object of life is not to be on the side of the majority, but to escape finding oneself in the ranks of the insane."

Did you skip that one?

You can only go so far with FACTS. Exeter had only won 5 times here in 59 visits so the probability of them winning on Saturday was extremely low on those FACTS and yet they did win.

You can pick out your opponents results against a certain team and compare them to your own team. So doing that we won at Blackpool, Barnsley lost at Blackpool so we are nailed on to win at Barnsley.

Based on each teams results over the season and how we stuffed in our game at Derby there was no way we were going to win the home game and yet we did.

How many times over the years have teams without an away win come here and won? based on the FACT they hadn't won an away game all season they wouldn't win here and that would apply to all their away games and they would go the whole season without an away but of course football doesn't work like that.

FACTS are history and have little bearing on future games.

I think this makes for a very tough game now. They were meandering to the end of the season and possibly missing out on the play-offs amongst much doom and gloom and toxicity. Now the fans seem bouyant. Don't know how the players will react of course. Maybe they will play with freedom and give us a good spanking. I am going up, my first trip there. Staying over on the Friday night and running their local parkrun in the morning.

Well Cobblers are 7/2 for a draw Saturday and 11/2 for a win so if your that confident I suggest you get some money on them.

Of course any one result on any one day is possible, but in all likelihood we'll lose Saturday and quite possibly by a good margin. We're not been very good recently, or hadn't you noticed?

some things in life are bad, yhey can really make you mad, other things just make you swear and curse. When you're chewing on life's gristle, don't grumble, give a whistle, and this'll help things turn out for the best

No - but as usual you are missing the point as I believe you cannot separate fact from your own opinion! Trust you to to use a quote open to interpretation. I avoided that one due to the reference of insanity. Unless of course you assume all those who support the Cobblers as insane! Would not put it past you in your current state of mind! Shows a complete lack of respect for fans who support the Club.

A few of us are making a day of it by doing the 30 minute journey to Wakefield Trinity, 6pm kickoff, after the Barnsley game.
