Still, they have pumped money into other clubs, so I'm sure we are all delighted about that.

Let me make one thing absolutely clear, the Trust “advisor” is not god. Are you going to tell him or shall I?

TBF they are a huge multi national business in a local area. Why would they want to pump money and advertising into a little league club? I'm sure those chances would have increased if we were in the Prem. Instead they prefer to concentrate on polluting our air with stinky hops. It was always my favourite school trip though.

Civic pride? Please a few employees? Would cost so little they'd barely notice? They were drunk?

They were quite happy to pump money into a little league club called Wrexham back in the late nineties. I will forgive them for doing the same to Havant and Waterlooville though.

Shocking TBH, surely we should be all over them for some sort of sponsorship, especially as we will be on the sky idiot lantern every week.

I'm hardly a beer connoisseur and am quite happy with a nice, bland cold fizzy lager, but even by my standards Carlsberg really is pìss!

With you on that one, it’s up there with Budweiser.

It's not like me to take issue with your posts Comrade Manny, but don't you mean down there with Budweiser? I have noticed previous confusion from you in terms of what is good or bad - perhaps you have a condition. Obviously, I am more than happy to help with any re-education that might be required.

I have noticed that you like to "re-educate" people that do not conform to your ideal. It is quite clear from your previous comments, that you do not like this country, or its establishments. (Not my King). Do you require any Tabasco assistance, or will your students continue to lap up your BS?

I actually had a bottle of Budweiser on the go as I typed that last comment!

I do like this country but not some of its establishments, such as a hereditary Head of State. We are lucky to live in one of the most amazing places in the world and are very lucky to have not been affected too much by natural disasters and to have a suitable climate to make life relatively easy (you can see why people would want to come here from more challenging areas of the world) . Being an island helps, as does not having hostile neighbours (currently). As I teach first aid, what type of head of state we have or other politics tends not to come up. Although lack of investment in the ambulance service / hospitals does as this does have an impact on my first aiders. The fact that my Dad had to spend 12 hours sat in A&E on Thursday is testiment to that. He was only released home because no beds were available as nobody had died to release a space for him in the ward they wanted to send him to. In a better funded health service, he would have been kept in for overnight monitoring, but austerity is still biting. Whoops we have now gone into the politics thread. Happy for you to take the opportunity for you to try to re-educate me when we eventually meet Tabby. Always happy to listen to a convincing argument and I might even learn something. If you just want to talk football or the relative merits of Carlsberg verses a good proper British real ale, I am all for that as well. Comrade Manny, if you haven't got bored with all my inane drivel by now, in case you hadn't realised it, my re-educate comment was tongue in cheek (like most of my contributions) on here, but if want to have a natter about your "re-education" I am happy to oblige and you can try to persuade me in return. Or we just talk football and beer. Enjoy the sunshine this weekend everyone and if you want to lubricate it with a Northampton brew, can I recommend Phipps instead of Carlsberg.

I can't ever remember seeing Phipps in the South of the County. It's mostly Hooky round here ( not a bad thing) with the very occasional Silverstone brewery. Any idea where's nearest to us here?
