I had the same operation at the back end of 2018 at Papworth so I know what he's going through.

That’s tough Grumpy and how are you doing now.. Are you on some special regime ? I liked Gabbiadini when he played for us. Hope he does as well  as you have.

Yes I'm ok, probably not exercising as much as I should as I'm a lazy sod. I'm taking 7 pills a day, but not all heart/blood pressure related.

It takes a while to recover from the op, when you wake up you have wires and tubes everywhere but they disappear one by one over the course of a few days. You are on light duties for a while but you are soon back to normal or as near as you can be. I'm not under the consultant anymore.

Marco is a lot younger than I was (71) so hopefully he will be fine.

Even though he played for us towards the end of his career a class act -good luck with the op and a great message with advice he posted on his situation.
