Whilst I enjoy a pre-season friendly at Silbey Rangers I think the problem for the club is the standard of Silbey is too low.
Therefore I suggest we pay for the use of the excellent local facilities but play a higher standard local team like Wellingborough Town

Would be good to play a team with a big stadium so that the owners can talk to them about how having a larger capacity has helped them attract new fans and climb the leagues.
A few out there but I would like Darlington, Oldham, or Southend. Maybe even MK or Bradford.

We played Dundee at home a few years ago. A young Luke Chambers scored early if I remember and then they took us to the cleaners after that and I think we lost 4 - 1. They looked a good side that day. |
