Does anyone know the status of our injuries. I am prompted by the departure of Sam Sherring and I'm thinking that Tyler Magloire might be the one playing alongside Guthrie at the back next season. Is there anyone with an up to date injury list?

No updates since the end of the season. We should know more in about a week when they return to training (the normal picture spotting will take place 😃).

Tyler Magloire should be ready to go. JB did say he could be involved for the last two games of last season but decided to hold him back for this season.

We will have to bring another Center half in, Maglorie and Willis are so injury prone, Goode seems to be who we are after………….

Who is also 'injury prone'?

Fox, Odimayo and Koiki. You can bet at least one of those won't make the start of the season.

The best move we can make over the summer is to convert Kolki to a forward.

I believe that he'd be excellent either on the left wing or coming off the right with his left foot

After “that goal” I’ve had the dawning realisation we are playing Kylian Mbappé at left back.

Bukayo Saka started as a left back, Ashley Cole started as a left "wing"*. Very interchangeable...

And Andy Holt.

Graham "Rambo" Reed started out as a striker. Don't think he was that great though.

Sorry Shoey, but I don't think you have the gist of this. The idea is that they start at the the unsung position of left back and then progress to the glamour roles. Your example is like my footballing career - had a go at being a striker early on as I was tall, then ended up as left back as there was no position that I stood out for and we only had 11 players.

There you go Fenners, there is another example of us being two testes in the same scrotum, apart from you aren't that tall really.

Jack Sowerby has had operation and will be ready near end of pre-season.

Patrick Brough still getting there after problem he had end of last season, should be there or thereabouts for the start of the season.

Harvey Lintott will be longer, possibly November.

The three new signings that didn't feature are at different fitness levels and won't be risked.

Unfortunately this is beginning to look a bit like last year, where a number of players didn't get a full pre-season due to lingering injuries or fitness issues. That meant that we tired quickly in the first couple of league games, and we lost to Stevenage because of it. Fingers crossed that doesn't happen!
