I'm sure JB doesn't see it that way. With Koiki also injured we have no cover for Mbete at left back. Not much better on the right hand side as Odimayo will miss at least one game for the sending off and McGowan must be injured.
We have McCarron who can play left wing back if needed.

He has gone the same way as Hondermark. I would imagine that the next time you see them back in the squad, would be for the Notts County game.
We have an overall squad which is bigger than the match day squad, which is limited by rules. All just as well if there are lots of injuries.

Brough broke his leg on Saturday and carried on! Unsurprisingly out for a while now.

Is he this week's knock of the week?

Respect to him for battling on!
I’m pretty sure it’s a fracture and that if he’d have known he should and would have come off. One of the worst left backs I’ve seen a the Claret.

koiki out for a while too apparently
Out for ‘several’ months according to JB. It’s got me thinking, what muscular injury can you pick up in training that’s recovery time is several months?

Hairline fractures can occur quite easily. I have done my ankle a couple of times, once by standing on a hosepipe that rolled underneath my foot. Broken is a far more emotive word than hairline fracture, and cunjures up dramatic images. My GP just said that there was nothing that could be done, and get on with it.

I hope to God that Brough doesn't read this. Just imagine the guy's sitting in hospital, having more than done his bit for the team on Saturday. He's in pain. He's facing months out, having last season gamely played through an injury when we needed him .... facing the probability that he'll have to find himself a new club in the summer ... and then he reads that. What are you made of?

Bearing in mind that he managed to remain on the pitch, I would suggest that it is not a serious snap, more of a hairline fracture. If that was the case, then it would explain why he didnt leave the ground in an ambulance. And why he is not in Hospital at the moment. And not laid up in bed. He will recover.

Tom Eaves and Jordan Willis are both pushing to be involved against Mansfield Town on Saturday but boss Jon Brady has confirmed Patrick Brough is facing a spell on the sidelines after suffering a broken leg in the win at Huddersfield. From the official site........ note the use of "broken leg"

Fair play to him as regardless of the severity he must have been in pain. I cracked a rib once in a game that scratched my lung but carried on playing….for about 15 minutes. Came off and drove to hospital 8 hours later as it still felt like I’d swallowed a sharp crisp. 3 days in hospital. Also on a recent routine spinal MRI they found a wedge fracture I knew nothing about. Proper hardcore.

Did your days as a registered nurse, utilise the term "picked up a knock"? Or were you not familiar with the current trend of playing with words? I would suggest that this is not as serious as people are making out. If it was, he would have been whisked off to hospital sharpo.

No, we used medical parlance, ie #NOF, NAD, AAA, PRN, RMO, QID, PR, IO etc etc. Very specific language used for a purpose.
