Opinions, opinions, At Bristol Deepcut thought Fox "was having a really good game", the Chron only rated 1 player higher but Manny says " he was the worst player on the pitch" well they can't both be right. JB signed him and has played him in 50 games (which no doubt would have been more but for his injuries) and was obviously happy enough with him to offer him a contract extension. I am happy to consider one of the longest serving managers in the EFL may be right. In his first season Fox often played behind the striker and got into the penalty area to chip in with a few goals but now we seem to be playing him in a deeper role. Where I sit several fans quite like him and I guess it could also come down to a question of budget as he won't be one of our higher earners. When Sowerby is fit he, McGeehan and Chouchane are likely to be ahead of Fox in the pecking order but he is not a bad squad player to have on the bench. Last season when we went to Burton several of their fans stated that they wished they had not let him go and they gave him a warm reception.

OAP I’ve never read a sentence that contradicts itself so much line after line.

I’d just let it go. You think Fox is good, some other people think he isn’t.

A pointless argument to have considering he’s out for another 6 weeks. He might come back a different player, he might not come back at all. Who knows.

I’m not sure where you are seeing any contradictions. Not sure why we are not allowed to discuss the player because he is injured it has not stopped your constant negativity in regard to Magloire.

Unfortunately I think Maglorie needs to find another way to make a living, such a shame as he looked great when we first signed him, but his injury record is ridiculous.

Anyone know if Eaves is likely to be back for this Saturday?
With no game next week maybe it will be 14th Sept vs Wycombe?

Jon said it was too early for him but Sowerby could be involved

As far as I know the following players have already got injured since the start of the season and we're only 4 league games in

Fosu
Mbete
Magloire (I assume)
Willis
Fox

Fingers crossed this trend doesn't continue or we'll have no fit players by Christmas. On the plus side, it was nice to see Sowerby and Brough get back on the pitch today.

Magloire isnt injured. He was warming up before the game in full substitute gear away from the match squad. Looked like he'd turned up expecting to play and his body language said "what the f***?". He did not look happy.

Magloire is constantly sick, injured, bad hair day. He cannot be relied upon.
And I have a sneaking feeling that Pinnock may soon pick up a knock, as his place is now under threat with the new lads signing.

Willis
Fox
Mbete
Fosu
Eaves
Dias
Lintott

Returning:

Sowerby
Brough

Due to return for the next game:

so this is just what someone said to me while watching the game in the west stand on saturday:

Willis 6 weeks
Fosu 8 weeks
mbete 6 weeks

seems a bit odd there all suddenly out for so long. Willis yes maybe can see that but i did see mbete jogging down the side of the pitch pre game to go down the tunnel.

just passing on what i’ve heard tho

Dibley-Dias was on the Subs bench on Saturday and running across the pitch at Half Time with the rest of the Subs.
