Fixtures released tomorrow at 9am. With who or where shall we start? Would want to avoid Wrexham away for some reason as all media will be on them (as usual) and we would probably end up getting a bit of a beating to start with. Could do without that. I'd settle for something like Cambridge at home.

Chances are the first game will be away with the final game at home as they try to switch them each season.

West Stand OAP , off the top of my head the first game of the season has been at home for the last 5 years plus, last game away. So due a change, but it doesn't change yearly.

Never heard of that before, but there are a number of unknown variables that they insert into the fixtures computer that we aren't aware of, so it wouldn't surprise me. |

I must be the only one who doesn't get excited over the fixture list. We have to play every team in the league twice, I don't care who we play when, especially as we don't know who the best teams are until the season is at least 10 games old - who knows we might be the best team.
I expect Birmingham to win the league so if I did have a preference for who we play first it would probably be them away to get it over with before they get into their stride. Mind you we shall need a team first.
