The majority of Port Vale supporters really rate him, some saying he has real quality and the best they've seen in 20 years.
The problem is he's injury prone, but if we can keep him fit we have a good signing on our hands.
Welcome James and good luck!

Hopefully, if we can keep him fit, he could be our Teddy Sherringham

If we can keep him fit a real player
I like only a year contract with a option at least if he doesn't stay fit we aren't lumbered with him

If Wiki is correct 209 appearances and 39 goals in 10 years, albeit 5 of those years at Man Utd with 15 appearances. Probably best to keep our powder dry but if we are comparing to Hylton....as long as he doesn't spend his time commentating at Old Trafford he'll be an upgrade. I think we've learnt our lesson with the one year contract.

Hope he is cheap, complete waste of a signing, legs have gone, worse than Hylton.

Interesting with all the moaning on this site about lack of early signings, the later ones have have pretty much turned out to be the best ones like Mbete, Fosu, Roberts and Chouchane. Can people please not loose their sh1t next year!.

I’d actually forgotten about him already. That’s bad of me.

I think someone should just take this city of Peterborough and just... just flush it down the f***in' toilet

Wot? And break a tradition of a lifetime. It's part of the natural transition of the summer, like the first swallow being sighted, Phew What A Scorcha! Headlines in The Sun and England being knocked out of a major tournament. And The Mighty Cobblers losing to a local non-league team in pre-season.

I imagine you're basing that on pre-season games. I've only seen him on the pitch for about 5 minutes so far in the league and so can't form an opinion. On paper he looked a good signing, but he's clearly well down the pecking order. I imagine he'll get his chance once we start our Mickey Mouse Cup campaign.

That was Brady's fault for not signing anyone early enough.

I suspect that the Wilson signing was made pre-budget increase....the players that we signed towards the end of the window were clearly more expensive than the ones at the start of the window!
No doubt that Wilson will get his chance in the pizza cup games or whatever they are these days. Its a long season so plenty of time for him to make his mark!
