The cheap option would be to get vadaine Oliver in on loan from Bradford , he isn’t part of their plans and we seem to be going back to the future

I loved Oliver when he was here but I feel that was mostly due to him being a perfect fit to how Curle set us up to play. Wouldn't mind him back but not convinced he'd fit as well into Brady's system.

I think we have moved on from VO but beggars can’t be choosers.

"Bambi on Ice" and "like a Labrador puppy chasing birds" were descriptors used by some (including me) when he was here before as a 19/20 year old, although he knew where the back of the net was. Hopefully four years later his youthful exuberance from before will be channelled into a more proficient less profligate player, especially in front of goal. I'm relatively confident that JB and his coaching staff will make that happen.

Bambi on Ice, was also regularly used to describe a certain Ivan Toney by some...Now, I wonder what he's up to these days! Callum said he's been playing 80% of games on the left, so he's hardly been played in his preferred position, since he left us... If anyone can get the best out of him, it's us.

Interesting its a loan, but he is out of contract at the end of the season so hopefully if he does ok we can sign him up longer term.
I guess it's a loan as we weren't prepared to match his wages for the last year of his contract at Salford. That way it can be shared between the clubs.

Excellent to have Callum back, really good last time, hopefully he can be just as good this time/or even better. 😁
