Are we, as fans, entitled to know the injury status of the players? Serious question
The length of time out, and the nature of the injury, not being described as "picked up a knock". I think thats reasonable.

Some of that information would be private and subject to data protection, as are all health records. The club would only be permitted to disclose very limited information

JB when asked will give an approximation of how long a player is likely to be missing and we should expect no more than that.

Really!? He normally avoids the question or says he doesn't know what the nature of the injuries are until scans and medical advice is sought. Only yesterday did he give some timescales but this is not normally the case.

Why in that case do managers at other clubs (not all) give more in depth injury updates on their players?

I don’t know, perhaps they’ve been given permission to disclose such information? I still don’t understand why people want to know so much about a player’s injuries 🧐

Or perhaps people may want to know, how the fcuk Koiki "picked up a knock" during a two week international break, and may be "out for some time"? I think that questioning that is perfectly reasonable.
Or do you feel that the "knock of the week award" thread should be subject to data protection act. AKA brush it under the carpet, and hope that people stop asking.

I don’t care, I’m content with an “player X is injured” message. People are entitled to ask and seek whatever information they want, I’m not one of them

Have you any idea how juvenile you sound by responding to a resonable point, with "I dont care"?  Hello Kevin the teenager.

Players pick up injuries as part of the game. It's unfortunate timing with Tom Eaves but once he's up and running and scoring those goals, all this will be forgotten.

My son spoke to Tom Eaves two weeks ago in NB's (nightclub in town, in case you're over 30!!) and he told him he'd be "back for the Wycombe game".

Just been watching the North London Derby, where The Arsenal have two of their big signings who have only played a couple of games between them because of injury. Date of return, unknown.
This isn't exclusive to us.

If he ever is, I'll believe it when I see it. I think the difference with Eaves is that most of us have never seen him and let's be honest we really need a presence up top.

That's a good point, I wonder if he's ever played at Sixfields? He's been knocking around Champ, L1 and L2 his whole career with a variety of clubs

Well I've learned two things from that; 1) I must have seen him and 2) I now know Ash Taylor is Welsh.
