If Wrexham want to pay silly money for Guthrie then they can have him imo...
Would be a nice big financial payday for him too, so wouldn't begrudge him that either.
Looks like Brough won't be fully fit for the start of the season & Koiki is prone to an injury so getting in that 47 could be a shrewd move...
Nice to see Magalore back on the pitch

Of all the trialists on show yesterday, the left back (47) would definitely be worth a punt. The centre back also looked strong, but not so much the strikers on show. The 2 youth players Dobson and Wyatt worth a place in the first team squad. Overall the second half performance much stronger than the first although probably more to do with the opposition.

So the concensus is that 47 is Liam McCarron, still a year left on his Stoke contract? Loaner perhaps?

Is the club "miffed" that we are working out the names of the trialists?

According to Wiki he signed a three year contract with Stoke on 29th June 2022 so would have a year left to run. He has hardly played a game anywhere, the most being 16 for Carlisle in 2018-19. I have to say I'm surprised at this as he looked a decent player to me. Wiki of course are not the most reliable of sources.

If its sourced (which it is) then its reliable. A lot of the time things just aren't up to date, thats all.

Don't know what he's been doing these past few seasons.... his only senior action last season was a 16 minute substitute appearance for Stoke in their 4-2 home defeat to Brighton in the FA Cup 3rd round in January. Going back to the 2022/23 season he was on loan at Port Vale from Stoke but only played in 4 matches, starting each one but being subbed off in each between the 55 and 62 minute point. Going back to the 2021/22 season his only taste of senior action was a 9 minute sub appearance for Leeds in the Premier League as they lost 4-1 at home to Arsenal (December 2021) and two appearances for Leeds U21's in the Trophy in September and November of the same year.

Sounds like hes got a similar track record to the last winger we had on loan from Stoke.

Has anyone managed to figure out who trialists 48 and 43 were? We seem to have the rest covered.
I thought 48 looked ok, but No 43 hardly saw the ball - sort of like Harry Kane last night.

I assume Admiral Muskwe didn't impress.
He looked big and strong, could be a useful addition if he can stay fit. Norwich just wanted to foul him, he got 3 or 4 free-kicks in the first half. Played on the left but did drift in at times.

Someone said Muskwe was the first half player No 45, No 43 and 48 were both second half.
