It is clear with the standard of hair and beards that have been added to the club that we are in for a successful season but I was just thinking to myself regards eavessss ponytail , how many players have played for us with such a hairstyle?
Whilst preparing a supper of Cornish yarg, crackers and farmhouse pickle I can only remember dean trott , Chris Hargreaves’s and Ricky Holmes
Obviously all fine players as to be expected with such hair appendages.
Can anyone else think of more to add to this illustrious list?

If I remember it right he'd shaved it off by then but we still sang the song to him Grin

McGregor had one of those post ironic Hoxton mullets, Huddersfield fans were very taken with his and Hargreave’s barnets as I recall 😏

One of their fans used to do a very detailed cartoon type review of the games, complete with figures and various props, I think he stuck a couple of caravans on the “pitch” as a nod to their luxurious barnets. I think it was after a fixture at their place. The hoarding incident was hilarious 😂

Didn't Dean Trott operate with a ponytail?
Puts to bed the "fact" that all ponytailed players are really good.

Fantastic large pixel animation showing the wind blowing and hoardings everywhere - does anyone still have a copy?

Is there a better sight than a professional footballer in a Cobblers shirt, surging forward with a ponytail flowing in the wind. Especially in 80s style tight shorts? Back in a minute……
