Admiral Muskwe still a free agent. So MAYBE MC's not completely out of touch with reality?

Very few of us come out well from this to date. FWIW I now think Pinnock may end up our top scorer (stays fit, takes free kicks in good positions to score, can be clinical) with Fosu (too injury prone overall) and McGeehan (now a known quantity at our level) his closest rivals ultimately.

Of course it has to be all competitive games, what if Dobson makes a breakthrough next year and gets a few first team appearances. If he scores 2 or 3, are they the only ones that are going to count?

Managers like Bowen and Wilder* are rare to come by! Whether we like it or not Jon Brady is the only recent Manager who can possibly follow in their* footstops!
We should stick with him, as at the moment he is our only hope of survival as a EFL Club!

Of course it has to be all competitive games,
Maybe at the start of the season, there was an assumption that we wouldn't progress very far in any of the knockout competitions. I have no idea why anybody might think that...... |

Got to say that I don't think many people would have expected McGeehan to be top scorer and be verging on double figures, but in front of goal he has been superb.
Reminds me a bit of when we used to play JJOT in a more advanced position. Does the boring stuff well, good on the press, aggressive, good in the air, good finisher and has a knack for being in the right place at the right time.
Doesn't get the plaudits but has been an extremely important player for us this season and a great signing!

I agree with you. McGeehan's 9 goals have come in 8 matches, of which we have won 6, drawn 1 and lost 1. Without his contribution we would surely be in the bottom four now and facing relegation. If you compare that to Hoskins 7 goals which have come in 6 games, of which we've won just 3 times, drawing once and losing twice. Also Eaves. Scored 5 times but we've lost 3 of those games. |
