Sharing of dreams it could be argued are the dull dishwater of posts... BUT Last night I had the most vivid dream about The Cobblers and a big problem had arisen. The new East stand had violated building regulations, was deemed unsafe and the ground's safety certificate was taken away. Much soul searching had gone on including moving to Coventry with recent history repeating itself and the opposite scenario of that awful ground share. Another solution put forward by a group (let's call them The Trust) was a move to Nene Park and the forming of AFC Northampton County. "It's been razed to the ground, don't you know that?" I remonstrated They didn't News eventually broke and dramatically it was decided the Cobblers would return, to the surprisingly intact County Ground! Matchday arrived and I found myself at a nondescript pub come Community Centre somewhere in town - lots of familiar old faces there, drinking, talking and erm shopping (it's a dream). Anyway the place was emptying it was time to get the the ground. Trouble was wherever in town this "community centre" was I couldn't make kick off. Charging around streets I eventually saw the floodlights and found the late turnstile. Next problem was I had acquired a bike somewhere between the community centre and the ground (remember it was a dream!) "Well I can let you in mate, but the bike will have to stay out there, offensive weapon you see" said the gateman "What can I do with it?" I asked "Either tie it to that lamppost, or take it to the old ladies in the café opposite" he said So that done, I entered the ground, passing a wedding ceremony taking place, which a lot of old friends from Pattishall were attending for some reason. All happens in dreams doesn't it?
Ignoring the wedding I went up into the hallowed Hotel End...
Then my alarm went off.

Can we assume that you'd imbibed something stronger than your bed time cocoa?

Foreign muck, although Canada is still owned by the king, crown estate, similar to the convicts, so may be just edible.
