It's true that we sign a few injury prone players and we know most squads are probably carrying half a dozen injuries at any one time, but we ALWAYS seem to have more than our fair share, and this season several serious ones. My conclusion - we're jinxed. Hope Eaves' injory isn't too bad. Didn't look good at all.

Yeah, I wasn't suggesting he was 'flaky' or at fault. With some players though it'll invariably be 'bad news', the same applies to most employees.
Fingers crossed he soon bounces back and gets a prolonged spell of fitness with some important goals. We need him!

I seem to remember Atkins having quite a few to deal with in the post Wembley relegation season 98/99. For instance he signed Dougie Hodgson, who subsequentially was forced to retire.
In actual fact he didn't deal with them because we "did a Brentford" and got relegated straight after a play-off defeat
