If it wasn't for his injury record we wouldn't have stood a chance in getting him just need luck to be on our side

It’s now 37 games since Roberts last scored a goal, 1908 minutes to be exact.
The focal point of our attack playing alongside Hoskins who hasn’t scored from open play since 23rd March.
It’s no real surprise we’re not creating much is it.
Time to try something different perhaps?

For me, Roberts is a creative number 10 rather than an out and out striker. He averages about one in 9 over his career, so he's hardly prolific.
That isn't to say he's a bad player though. He oozes class. His first touch and control is excellent and when he finds himself in a deeper position some of the flicks and passes he produces are exceptional.
There's an element of the Harry Kane under Southgate about how we're using him. It's not quite the same because Kane is a natural goalscorer who was being asked to come deep while Roberts is the opposite, but the end result is the same; they both drop back to get themselves more involved but when they do there's no one ahead of them to feed the ball to!
I'm not knocking Brady because with the injuries we've had I think Roberts is the only attacking option we have with the physicality to lead the line and Roberts himself is working his arse off to make things happen, it just isn't his natural game.
If we can get an extended run for either Eaves or Waghorn to play alongside/just ahead of him I think we'll see a lot more from Roberts.

Agree that Roberts should not be up front on his own. Get him behind Eaves.

Not sure about the 'comparison' with Harry Kane but a decent enough appraisal of Roberts and how Brady handle handles him.

I think it would be good to see Eaves, Waghorn, Roberts and Fosu get a bit longer in better conditions.

Is it just me, or does McGeehan look a bit off the pace at the moment?

I’ve been saying it for months, think he’s garbage, adds nothing, rather have Super Sam than him.

Glad it’s not just me then. Rarely come away from a game thinking he’s had a good game however he seems to have a knack of being in the right place to score goals which is a valuable thing.

I think someone should just take this city of Peterborough and just... just flush it down the f***in' toilet

I said on Saturday he was having a poor game but he is our leading scorer and has been man of the match on more than 1 occasion. Picks up too many yellow cards for somebody playing in his position which I have often said in the past about Hoskins.

He's third in the POTS so seemingly is one of our better players.
I like him, think he's one of our better signings.

I don't disagree but it's just been noticeable to me that he looks lacking something at the moment.

Goals or not, t’s not often we get to witness the quality this lad is capable of. I intend to enjoy the magic show for as long as I can.

I'm getting confused who we're talking about here. Is it Tyler Roberts or Cam McGeehan?
Like all threads they tend to go off on a tangent.
