Those 50mph sections were way too long. So bloody annoying. Coming back tonight we hit the monsoon around Nottingham. Never driven is such heavy rain. A boat would have been more appropriate. Still it was all worth it.

The fifty mile an hour sections are ridiculous. Mostly there's no work going on and the lanes are no narrower so absolutely no justification. No matter where you go on any motorway there's roadworks and speed restrictions. When will they ever finish. I said earlier it was about 1/4 of the journey. Probably more like a third or even half. I bet it doesn't happen on the Autobahns. Singcobb?

Given, rather than received. Well Observed.

Can confirm I was not talking about the football.

I think we should thank Mrs Hoskins for that win. Sam’s enforced absence meant he couldn’t stick with Hoskins / Pinnock duo and picked the best team, and players  in their best positions. Really enjoyed that win, one my finest away days.

Agreed.

Come on Baldy, I can tell you want to make it Blackpool away. Different coastline would be nice for you.

Watching Baldwin at Barnsley I thought we had copped for a right old croc of shít, although his commitment in scoring the goal said something. I don’t think my opinion on a player has ever changed by so much so quickly.

Well done lads great result. I was expecting us to get a tonking, and I asked you to prove me wrong and you did, let's now keep it going.

I won't comment on the actual game as I wasn't there, but the Chron's marks are outstanding. I had a read through the Huddersfield forum and a couple of their fans thought the penalty was harsh and it was Karma they missed it. Some thought we played well, some blamed the ref but most seemed to think their team played awful. Maybe that was due to us eh?

A great watch, especially seeing our away fan involvement after each goal/incident.
Another great day had by us all.
Having also been at Blackpool and the relative crap or mediocre before or in between, days like these make travelling away all worth it.

Yeah, what's all that about. A load of Johnny come latelys taking away the tickets from the true fans. Looks like the Bingers contingent will have to be in the home end. Time to develop a Welsh accent boyo.

Well the Wrexham home end is also sold out, so just the waiting list to rely upon, unless any kind sole on here has a spare ticket or five?

That means, in case you didn't know it already, Wrexham are a tin pot non-league club, that can't cope with all those who want to see The Mighty Cobblers play that day.

Burge, Guthrie, McGeehan and Fosu are all in division 1 team of the week.

Take note Manny this is the same McGeehan who you said was useless and currently our top scorer. The current score is midfielder McGeehan 2 v your much praised striker Simpson 0.

A superb day out. Everyone to a man outstanding and we do play some lovely stuff at times. Looking at the run of games before it was hard to see many points between now and November, but this was a much needed win and a much needed performance at the right time. f***ing superb.

The 50MPH speed limit through Sheffield is designed to improve the air quality of the surrounding areas apparently

Did anyone spot that Harland's goal v Arsenal today was similar to Fosu's yesterday? He's obviously learning from the master.

The long stretch of 50 mph through South Yorkshire, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire, is due to putting in extra safety pull ins . The widow of someone who got hit by a lorry in the slow lane when they broke down, had been campaigning for years to ban smart motorways. Following an enquiry into them it was decided to add extra safety pull ins. It is the same for a big chunk of the M6 and a bit of the M5.

I'm late to the thread, but I got to say that result was brilliant..pinnock for me stood out as one of his best games in a cobblers shirt. Well played, lads. Up the cobblers!
