We used to shop at Finefare when I was a kid. Possibly the only supermarket in town in the sixties!

Was that the one down Gold Street, on the right?

No, it was on Abington Street where Primark used to be. Not sure what's there now although it's where the New Theatre used to  be opposite Notre Dame until they sadly and depressingly went the way of so many other lovely buildings in the town. But that's another thread. Didn't Tesco used to be down Gold Street on the right, but I think that was 70s/80s.

It was probably Tesco's I was thinking of, did Tesco take over the Brierleys site or were they alongside each other?

I think they were both down there at the same time at one point.

I could be wrong on this, but the name Victor Values springs to mind.

Not sure about this one but apparently we've sold our Wrexham allocation so I've been told.

Yeah, what's all that about. A load of Johnny come latelys taking away the tickets from the true fans. Looks like the Bingers contingent will have to be in the home end. Time to develop a Welsh accent boyo.

They do indeed. If you want to see a lot more, take a day trip to Rhyl. Its shell suit central.

That must have changed over time. My grandad and fathers family were born and bred in Wrexham and was as Taffy as they come. Maybe they've been infested by Scouse overspill across the generations. My dad is Glyndwr but very much has the Bugbrooke brogue.

Am I right in thinking Marc Richards scored his first Cobblers goal vs Huddersfield only for the game to be abandoned?

Paul Rachubka also provided the single best goalkeeping performance I've seen at Sixfields for Huddersfield around a similar time.

Can't see us getting too much from the game this Saturday though. Huddersfield look like early promotion contenders and are maybe just missing that elusive £15m striker to be considered title contenders. Would happily take a 0-0 right now...

Great, we'll use Younger Boy Bingers Liverpool address and nick his shell suits. I might even grow a perm and a dodgy tash for the occasion.

Eh, eh, calm down, calm down.

As for tomorrow, I've got a good feeling about it.

Even better, Big Boy Bingers is driving me there for the first time ever, so I get to have a few pre-match beers as well. I've waited a long time for this favour to be returned. At Long last, there is a point to bringing up children.

I see Mbete used to play for these. So, wether its him or Brough on the left, I can see that side being targeted. I feel a 2-0 defeat coming up.
Top tip, if the bookies is still there behind the away end, dont use it as it may well be closed before the final whistle.
