If he can manage the stairs or the concrete slope if you speak to the stewards at the main carpark in front of the West Stand they will let you drop of in those circumstances.
From what i understand of your proposal there is quite abit of walking to do especialy for an elderly fan with stick! Taking into account his medical history and medication then walk of near 100yds maybe too far. As suggested contact Wendy for professional advice. Obviously if St Johns Amb are around they will help. Possibily the XVth Legio who is an ex health professional on here!

Thanks for everyone's advice on my Uncle's conundrum. Wendy was unable to help with a space. I'll try and see if I can drop off by the steps of the main West Stand car park for him to walk slowly down the walkway rather than the steps. It makes you think how one day these things can happen to any of us and how the things we do easily now can become more challenging and eventually impossible

There has been no shortage of goals in Mansfield's games with 22 scored in their 6 games (almost 4 a game) and they have scored 11 and conceded 11. They have scored in every game but have failed to keep a clean sheet, only the bottom 2 teams and Blackpool have conceded more goals. Lee Gregory will need to be closely marked as he has already netted 4 times. They also have our former loanee Hiram Boateng in their ranks.
Although they have 11 points Mansfield have had a relatively comfortable fixture list so far with 4 home games, 2-1 wins against the bottom 2 teams Cambridge and Shrewsbury and draws with Burton and Stockport. They started the season with a good 2-1 win at Barnsley but came badly unstuck in their other away game losing 1-4 at Lincoln.
Draws in this fixture are rare as there have only been 6 in the 42 games with 22 home wins and 14 away wins. In the last 10 home fixtures we have 6 wins, 2 draws and 2 defeats.
We are unlikely to make many changes to the starting 11 that did so well at Huddersfield but McGowan should return for the suspended Odimayo and it will be interesting to see if Hoskins immediately regains his place (presumably in place of Pinnock as that was the intention last week).
With Mansfield selling their 1473 ticket allocation we only need a small increase in this seasons home support to record a 7000 crowd for the first time. After last weeks performance this is a very winnable game particularly with quite a tough set of fixtures in October.

It makes you think how one day these things can happen to any of us and how the things we do easily now can become more challenging and eventually impossible I think you should be able to drop him by the shop. My dad has a disabled parking space and when we're going in you see no end of cars and taxis dropping off there. The stewards won't let you into the actual disabled car park without a pass but will just direct you to turn around, so your uncle should be able to hop out there while you go and park elsewhere.

I may have missed an announcement but would think that the Duston Mill car park will be more suitable for backstroke than parking a car tomorrow.
With the egg chasers on after us and a healthy crowd it’s going to be busy. I blame the land grabbers.

Really interesting to see how we line up this weekend, I think everyone who is able to, deserves to retain their places. McGowan for Odimayo is obvious because of the suspension but I dont think anyone deserves to be taken out. The only factor is that we have 3 games in the next week so an element of rotation is going to be needed, but I think keep it as is for this.
I think Roberts showed some real class with his link up play and ability to retain possession. I wonder if we may see him as a no 10 once Eaves gets fully up to speed. Only downside is that McGeehan is clearly best suited to getting forward and chipping in with goals and you dont want to take that out of the team.
Anyway its the first time in a while whereby we have real competition for places up front. But the time is most definitely now for Brady to drop one of Pinnock or Hoskins to allow for simply higher quality players. No shame in that and they are still useful squad members, but clearly should no longer be considered 1st choice.
Mansfield have been a good team at L2 for a long time and have no doubt they will be fine at L1. Not sure how the pitch / conditions will effect play but im going to go with a score draw. Would be delighted with another 3 points and keep us firmly in the upper midtable early doors.

As I said in my post yesterday Mansfield may have 3 more points than us but they have had a relatively comfortable set of fixtures so far with 4 of their 6 games at home and 2 of their 3 wins were at home against the bottom 2 teams by a single goal. I expect them to gradually slip down the league.

Starting tomorrow, they have been a bit of a bogey side for us, so therefore I have a bad feeling about this game.

With Saints kicking off at 5.30pm it is a good excuse to have a pint after the game to miss the traffic problems!

My elderly Uncle is coming along for this with my cousin and he needs an accessible parking space (he can't walk far and uses a stick) There aren't any spaces available. We are on a waiting list. Assuming nothing comes of this am I able to drop him off very near the stadium i.e. the south entrance gated road before the shop and then park up somewhere. Then pick him up from that area after the game?
Hi. I used to drop my mum off near the shop and then turn around and park. Meet my mum by the turnstiles and watch the game together and walk to Carrs Bar after the game for a tea/beer. Leave it 30 mins for the traffic to clear. Leave mum in the bar and then I’d fetch my car and be able to park right outside Carrs bar for the pick up.

Great read Lordy. Pinnock was on the bench last game according to JB but Hoskins went awol maternity leave whilst with team. Hoskins was our leading scorer last season;so lets drop him and play a previously out of form Pinnock . Thats a view shared by some on here!!
