And he will be lucky to even make the bench soon when they get their key players back from injury.
Earning lots. Never playing. What a waste for such a talent.
The agent is probably earning a lot more though, so every cloud. However, I don’t think for one minute the agents are influencing their clients based on their own financial gain, it’s all about decisions being in the best interests of the players career with them.

Let me make one thing absolutely clear, the Trust “advisor” is not god. Are you going to tell him or shall I?

On a seperate note, whoever is advising Sam Sherring gets my vote as the second worst “advisor” in history.

True but unfortunately the money likely to come into the club will buy a degree of success and support distorted wages

My predictions:
Don't get the love-in for Simpson at all. He had a couple of moments, but is a classic case of talent in there somewhere but it not manifesting. He'll be kicking around a as L2/Conference journeyman for the rest of his career. I'd sooner have Appere back who will probably become a L1/L2/Scotland journeyman himself.
McWilliams felt past his best last season and a move was probably the right decision to help him get back on track, but he won't do if he's not playing. I reckon he'll be out on loan to a L2 team come Jan and find his level there.
Sherring is definietly the best player we lost (loans aside). A solid defender and a good age. Such a strange move for him... but he'll be guaranteed a start I suppose which could give him a launchpad. Wouldn't be suprised to see him in the Championshp in a couple of years.
It would be criminal is Leonard doesn't play the majority of games in L1. If they aren't playing him and want to loan him out though. He'll go on to play in the Prem (and for his country) if he gets the game time, otherwise will languish in the Championship as a nearly man.

He's played more minutes than he hasn't so far. Birmingham was easily the best move for him and he needs to up his game to ensure he keeps playing during their inevitable title win.

If it’s true he’s on the same money Sam Sherrings decision has to be hands down the worst of any player leaving the club. He drops down a division which is a step backwards by any measure, and not only that, to a club that is the most universally despised in the entire EFL. On top of that it is going through some significant internal upheaval, and that always creates instability. He’ll never make it as a top player, he obviously has the intellect of an amoeba.

Leonard will be fine. Top player and he'll get his chance.
Simpson. I agree with those that say he's got the attributes to be a good player. Clearly mental issue for him and some players while having the natural ability don't have the drive to be a top pro. We waited long enough for him to turn it round and he never did. Maybe the right manager can achieve it or maybe something clicks for him when his career slides away. What a waste.
I liked McWilliams and I think I backed him more because he was one of our own more than I would if he wasn't. Too many fitness issues over the years and I think his development was stunted through simply never getting on a decent run of games/performances. Was suprised Rother ham took him bearing in mind I assume they are aiming for the Championship next season.
Sherring, just a weird decision unless he knew about the takeover in advance.

There isn't one. Manwork is his only fan, but repeats his opinion so often that it seems there are more.

With St Patricks Irish Prem League Sise, thought we treated him a tad shabbily! Did well at Harrowgate on a bitterly cold night! Would have thought some lower League 2 side might have gone in for him?
