According to today's Chron this seems to emanate by a complaint by Paul Buckle that abuse levelled at the match officials may have have influenced their decision in the 2-2 draw and "the abuse may have impacted the referee's decision-making throughout the game". In the interests of transparency is Gareth Willser prepared to publish the letters supposedly received from the FA and the League? Amazing this, I've noticed large sections of the New Den permanently cordoned off - not.
This is what I though and it makes a mockery of the whole letter thing really. Sour grapes from a manager who couldn't hack conceding a goal so late on when he thought he had won the game. I think that the letter is an empty threat that has been sent in the wrong context. It is an offence to run on the pitch...so are the club banning 50 or so supporters who went on the pitch after we equalised against Torquay? Didn't think so.
