As this is on an International weekend, what's the likelihood of us travelling to the Las Vegas of the North on this date?

Blackpool's "internationals" for the first two rounds of fixtures were Dominic Ballard (England U20s), Zac Ashworth (Wales U21s) and Rob Apter (Scotland U21s)

Neither Wales U21's or Scotland U21's have a game this upcoming break as qualification for the Euro U-21's has been completed.

Hate to say this but maybe we could do with a 6 month suspension of our season.   Angry

It will be interesting to see what sort of team we can put out for this game. Up front we have Roberts and Pinnock fit, presumably Hoskins can play a part and maybe Fosu if his hamstring isn't deemed too bad.
Should Magloire and Baldwin both be out JB is left with very few defenders, would he again opt for a back 5 with Hondermarck at right wing back or switch to a back 4. Sowerby ought to be back from his illness and we have also used him previously as an emergency centre back.

I don't see the need to adopt our "anti football" approach from the Birmingham game as Blackpool have only gained 2 points from their last 6 games (lowest in the division) conceding 15 goals in the process. In fact their 28 goals conceded is the highest in the division but only 8 teams have scored more than their 21. In their 14 games they have failed to score 3 times (once at home) and scored 2 goals or more 7 times, they have only kept 2 clean sheets (again 1 at home) but conceded 2 goals or more 9 times.
At home they have only won 2 of their 7 games with 3 draws and 2 defeats with 11 goals each way, scoring and conceding 2 goals or more 4 times each. Their leading scorer is Kyle Joseph with 5 goals. In goal they have Richard O'Donnell who we had briefly in a relegation season from division 1, he triggered a relegation clause in his contract to join Bradford City and was promptly relegated with them, I was not particularly impressed with O'Donnell when he was here and remember Bradford fans wanting him out. His career seemed to be on a downward spiral as he then joined Rochdale so it is a little surprising to find the 36 year old at Blackpool.

Not a great record at Blackpool as we have lost 14 of the 19 games, with 2 draws and 3 wins including winning there last season. Their fans think their defenders don't cope well with being pressed and resort to a big hoof upfield. Given Blackpool's poor recent form and our decent away record (we have scored in each of our last 6 away games) we have every chance of adding to our points total and because there are only 5 division 1 games this Saturday we would a little more up the table.

Alex Chilowicz is the referee and he took charge of our opening fixture of the season at Bristol Rovers when we lost to a last minute goal from a corner kick he had awarded which should have been a goal kick.

Despite being a 3pm kick-off, I presume this will be live on the Sky Sport + App as it is an International weekend. Is that correct?

Our group were planning to go but decided against because of the late confirmation the match was not affected by international call ups. If we booked train and hotel and it was called off a big loss.

I hate it but tv for us.?

An ideal game for Tyler Roberts to start turning decent performances into goals I would have thought. I notice his early interviews suggested he sees himself as a 9 or 10 for us so it really is time.

3pm kick off on Sky 412 is Stockport v Wrexham ( their obsession with Wrexham continues) other games should be on the red button.
