He scored against Rovers, injured his back and didn't play for the Cobblers again

He scored the equaliser on his debut against Rovers after coming on as a 60th minute substitute for Gboly Ariyibi. He then started the next game against Rotherham, a 3-0 home defeat during which he was replaced by Boris Mathis. Three days later Luckassen came off the bench again, this time replacing Kevin Van Veen in our 1-1 home draw with Shrewsbury, and then in the next game he replaced Mathis off the bench at half time in our 2-0 loss at Fleetwood. He was booked in that game and then we never saw him in Cobblers colours again.

Edit: Just looking through our teamsheet for that defeat at Fleetwood..... Matt Grimes and Joe Bunney..... Ash Taylor and Hildeberto Pereira... there were some names there!!! Pereira is currently tearing it up for FC Universitatea Cluj, not to be confused with CFR Cluj who are the team who we sometimes see playing in European Competitions. That said, Hildeberto's Cluj currently sit proudly at the top of the Romanian League three points ahead of their neighbours and are chasing their first ever Romanian top flight title.

McGeehan would start but I guess he doesn't count as he isn't injured and will most likely start Saturday. I think JB would play Willis if he was fully fit or Baldwin, although it would be harsh to drop TJ. Most of our players are pretty much of a muchness for me but a fully fit squad would improve the bench no end. We didn't have a single defender on the bench Saturday and if we lose another one we are truly stuffed.

Now that is the point I was trying to make.

Managers like Bowen and Wilder* are rare to come by! Whether we like it or not Jon Brady is the only recent Manager who can possibly follow in their* footstops!

We should stick with him, as at the moment he is our only hope of survival as a EFL Club!

It's good to see that Marvo (in a roundabout way) has acknowledged that Hoskins is worthy of being in our starting 11.  Tongue

If it wasn't for our crazy injury list I am sure the team would look different, although I agree that if it was much better is up for debate and one of those arguments that can never be proven either way. Maybe in a perverse way it is working to our advantage (clearly not against Kettering) as it is galvanising the remaining players and JB can't mess around as much.
