Next up is out final group game in the Bristol Street Motors.
We entertain Burton Albion tomorrow evening with a 7pm kick-off. Both teams can qualify and currently sit 1st and 2nd in the group.
Starts for Tzanev, Tomlinson, Licorish-Mullings, Ireland, Dobson and Wyatt plus possibly Eyoma and Waghorn to get more minutes. Tyler Roberts could get another chance to open his scoring account or JB may decide to keep him back for Saturday at Blackpool.

Not too much of a preview for this one but the Cobblers who top the group with two wins from two having not conceded a goal against either Notts County or Leicester U21's are almost certain of a second phase spot already. Only a heavy defeat coupled with a Notts County win against the Leicester youth will deprive us of our first time getting out of the group since 2021.
The other game is played tomorrow night too so we'll know the outcome by 9pm!
Burton come into this one off the back of a three game unbeaten run during which they haven't conceded a goal. A 1-0 win over Scarborough in the FA Cup was followed by a goalless home draw with Crawley and finally their first league win of the season on Saturday when they beat Shrewsbury 2-0 at the Pirelli.
Albion are currently under the interim stewardship of Mark Hounsell, he stepped up from coach after Mark Robinson was sacked a couple of weeks ago.
James Durkin will take charge of the game, he likes a card or two with 92 yellow and 9 reds handed out in 22 games last season and 28 yellow with one red this season in 8 games. This will be our first taste of his officiating.

If Baldwin and Magloire are going to miss the Blackpool game it is probably best not to risk Eyoma or Odimayo as we will be left with only 4 fit defenders but that means another youth will have to play in central defence with Tomlinson or even Sowerby. As McGeehan is suspended on Saturday we should play him tonight and give players not in the B'ham starting 11 some time, Chouchane, Hondermarck, Waghorn, Dobson and Wyatt probably McCarron as well.
Need to finish top of the group to get a home game in the next round.

A bit of a relaxed game for us. 4 youngsters including a midfielder in defence getting us caught at the back a bit would be interested to know how many Burton playing tonight are teenagers.
