Brewers playing all the football here, a few of ours not impressing on their chance to prove themselves. Waghorns head keeps dropping, Hondermarck dangling a leg all the time…..you can forgive the kids for looking off the pace, and Roberts wearing gloves!!

Indeed, it’s been a very poor display, Wyatt looks horrible.

Wyatt isn’t a right back though, agree he’s looked poor but that may be why.
Not sure any of them have been good, maybe licorice allsorts throws?

He's not a right back though, hes a midfielder playing out there from neccesity as well as being in a back 4 with three other teenagers.
I think Burton have only got one teenager in Donovan playing for them, I think we just chalk this one up as a academy game really.
Donovans not even theres he's a Birmingham loanee, so think they might be playing 0 academy players to our 6.

Wyatt is one of the most technically gifted players the academy has produced in a while but he is no bright back.
You need your senior pros to be calming influence and hondermark is doing the opposite by giving the ball away.

Defensively poor, need to tighten up and finish top of the group. In danger of not even qualifying for the next round.

Is he? He should get an academy award for the way he’s hiding it.

I'm not saying Wyatt is a right back and I know he's a decent talent, Ive seen his youth goals. He should still be able to tackle though, show some effort and not keep turning his back.
That said, in the 25 mins Ive seen, we were poor and overrun in midfield. Burton may well have a more experienced side out but it's not exactly been setting the world alight...
Looks like we drew 11 names from the "fit hat" then got them to draw straws on position....

Wouldn't really say that Burton are brimming with experience.... there are a few there with little, ok they're not academy players but they are all a bit green! I daresay Waghorn has more "experience" than their entire team.
We've now stuck three more academy players on, with Roberts, Ireland and McCarron (who hardly got a mention in the 1st half either) going off.

Burton have some real quality players.
Massive turnover of players in the summer under new ownership, over 20 in and 20 out. I didn't expect them to be near the bottom of the league this season and I certainly don't now i've seen their reserves tonight.
