You notice it’s closing down. (Northampton Cineworld)

Such a sad shame, something should be down about it for it to be kept open.

Agree, my partner & I have black cards & go regularly...

Apparently, the current landlord refused the revised rent offer, so it's probably going to go the same way as the much missed Soundhaus...

A mecca for Romanian weddings!

It's never competing with Rushden lakes owned by the same company who have so maybe more screens and different screens which Northampton doesn't have room for

Also Kettering Odean closing down means Northamptonshire in general is short on cinemas

The cinema, TGI's, Walter Tull....Sixfields is turning into a ghost town. I rarely see anyone in Five Guys so that won't be too far behind. Wagga's and Mac D's must be taking most of the business up there at the moment. With the right outlets the place should be heaving.
As for the cinema, Sol Central and Vue (despite being half the price) is also really quiet most of the time, so I am sure they will scoop up some business. I only go to the Errol Flynn or Arc.

On the plus side, plenty of free parking unless they want to keep it privately managed and empty!

Popeye's is normally fairly busy...but that's on the other side of the road and easy to get in and out of.

Northampton Cineworld has one of the most customer based using it not down to numbers down to rent. Bellrock are the landlords to this Cinema/place.

Please share link with friends as many thanks.

That's a shame. I think it opened around the same time as the stadium back in 1994?

Had my first date there about 20 years ago, saw Shaun of the Dead.
