I get the feeling he automatically picks up more respect from the players than Brady did as he played at a higher level, but its always hard to judge these things in the early stages as the players will always be spouting the new gaffa phrases and Nolan will be trying to get the confidence of the fans and players with what he says.
I do like the fact he is open an honest about us playing a bit more route one until we have players back fit and the results and confidence are on the up.
