Crawley lose.
Cambridge & Stevenage losing.
Bristol Rovers & Burton drawing.
Shrewsbury winning.
|
Managers like Bowen and Wilder* are rare to come by! Whether we like it or not Jon Brady is the only recent Manager who can possibly follow in their* footstops!
We should stick with him, as at the moment he is our only hope of survival as a EFL Club!

Unfortunately we are already in the position of relying on other teams losing.

Fortunately and surprisingly, we're still above the relegation zone. Sunday will show us exactly where we are.

I think it will be the end of January before we know exactly where are. However you have to remember that on the whole this season we've been poor yet we're still above the relegation zone. Therefore the improvement necessary for this season isn't that drastic. That will come in the summer.

Well, we're playing against the side who until today have been bottom of the league for a while, so I think Sunday will give us a bit of a clue.

Too soon. I understand what you're saying but too soon. We lose at Shrewsbury but then Nolan brings in three or 4 starters who transform the team and whatever Sundays result produces will become irrelevant. We are STILL not in the relegation zone. I'd agree with you if we were in Burtons position. Whats the saying, you cant mae a purse from a sows ear. We'll know when we see what occurs in January and if he isn't given any funds, which will mean the club has excepted relegation then why didn't they let Sammo stay until the summer?

Will it be possible for Nolan to bring in 3 or 4 starters though? Possibly 2 if we're lucky. Therefore we're left with more or less what we've already got.

To what? On current form we are the worst team in the league and as we are away from home, we would be expected to lose..... again. We've already lost to the Shews AT HOME this season.

And we have also lost to Burton and Stevenage as well. Theres your next three opponents covered. Home or away, it doesnt seem to make much difference at the moment. But lets cut Nolan some slack, hes only been here five minutes, FFS.

I was at Reading today, and let me tell you that “performance “ was worse than anything Brady served up including Kettering.

Bloody hell Marvo. You seem to try and make an argument where there isn't even a suggestion of one. All I did was try to make a case of our current situation and the fact that our next game against one of our relegation rivals might help to determine our potential fate. That's what. I agree with quite a lot of you're opinions on here but can see why a lot of posters don't have a lot of time for you.
