I hope we don’t go down or else this will turn into a disastrous (and expensive) appointment. I’d be amazed if he wasn’t given funds to shuffle the pack a little in January.
You don’t appoint a manager after 21 games (when you aren’t actually in the relegation zone) in preparation for the season following a subsequent relegation!!
I reckon we’ll be fine. He doesn’t have to be a miracle worker.

I was at Reading today, and let me tell you that “performance “ was worse than anything Brady served up including Kettering.
and you're blaming Nolan for that? Brady won on out of his last 10 games (against Leicester U21's). You forgotten that already?

Managers like Bowen and Wilder* are rare to come by! Whether we like it or not Jon Brady is the only recent Manager who can possibly follow in their* footstops!
We should stick with him, as at the moment he is our only hope of survival as a EFL Club!

Bloody hell Marvo. You seem to try and make an argument where there isn't even a suggestion of one. All I did was try to make a case of our current situation and the fact that our next game against one of our relegation rivals might help to determine our potential fate. That's what. I agree with quite a lot of you're opinions on here but can see why a lot of posters don't have a lot of time for you. That's not really my problem. Its not a popularity contest. My point is the game at Shrewsbury will not tell us anything, win, lose or draw.

If it was, you'd definately be in the relegation zone. And the point is; a win at Shrewsbury would certainly give us a better chance of survival than them.

Fortunately and surprisingly, we're still above the relegation zone. Sunday will show us exactly where we are.
Your post is at least partly right! In fact it might be to early whether a bad result at Shrewsbury will show us where we are. A good result, that is a win or a draw will be useful for us. Not so good for Shrewsbury. Its all a bit pointless. We must give Nolan time to get his best defence together; the one we had against Birmingham will do! Perhaps a signing or two in January will help. Encourage the others not to give up. After all whatever our opinion is Jon Brady left us a legacy of which some is good!

It was better than both Stevenage and Rotherham, I assume that you weren't at those?

Who else would you blame? Have you heard of the new manager bounce?

No, Reading was against my better judgment but I’d thought we might take a few with a new manager and the players wanting to show the said new manager how much they want to be part of his plans. I was wrong.
